2009 Training Begins

Sensei Dominic advised at the summer grading that training will resume at Kyokushin Brisbane on Wednesday 7th January 2009.

I hope everyone is enjoying the break and is really looking forward to getting back into training!

Summer Grading 2008

Ahhh... 20th December... what a day - it was hot! too hot!

There were around 12 people grading. Everyone put in a great effort.

Leading the was Margit and Paul who were both going for green belt. Margit had missed the last few gradings due to injury so was good to 

see her back in action! 

Also at the yellow end was Kaz who was looking to move up to senior yellow!

Sensei Dominic and Sensei Raan made them all work hard during the sparring. Lucky there was only 12 rounds for green belt. You would be crazy to attempt a senior grading in summer in Brisbane that is for sure!

Results are yet to come out but good luck to everyone!

Just wanting to use this blog to share information about Kyokushin Brisbane Dojo. Sensei Domonic is so busy teaching us all good karate that our dojo's website http://www.kyokushinbrisbane.com/ doesn't get enough updates. Senpai Tiff does a great job putting up the pictures on the facebook too!

I am hoping to supplement the official website with some more details on this blog!
